Ukraine Today through the Lens of International Law
Dear Alumni,
The Fulbright Program in Ukraine is pleased to invite you to *an open
lecture ” Ukraine Today through the Lens of International Law” by U.S. Fulbright Scholar 2014 Dr. Engle*, to be held *on Monday,
March 24, 2014, 6:30 p.m.*, at the Fulbright Office (20 Esplanadna Street,
Suite 904, M "Palats Sportu", Kyiv).
Dr. Engle will discuss the rule of law, constitutional reform and
international law with a view to understanding the crisis facing Ukraine
and explaining possible solutions.
Dr. Engle has a degree in law (St. Louis University School of Law, St.
Louis, MO, USA), a master's in public finance and taxation (Université
Paris II- Sorbonne, France), and Ph.D. in international law (Universität
Bremen, Bremen, Germany).
He has taught law in France (Créapole-ESDI Paris), Germany (Humboldt
Universität, Berlin), Estonia (University of Tartu, Tartu) and
Russia(Pericles Center for International Legal Education,
Moscow).
